What Do People Say About Electronic Cigarettes?

The majority of individuals using an electronic cigarette say that it takes a few days to get used to it, but that it really is odorless. The electronic cigarette has the same shape and coloring as a traditional cigarette, but it weighs a little bit more between your fingers. The smoke that an electronic cigarette puts off is actually water vapor, which dissipates quickly without leaving a nasty odor behind.

Several former smokers have used the electronic cigarette to gradually step down their nicotine intake and eventually quit smoking. This product is not advertised as a smoking cessation product, as the FDA has not approved it for such, but I personally know several former smokers that have used it for that purpose successfully.

  1. I’ve not seen this type of quitting option before. Perhaps when I was a smoker trying to quit I would have done it sooner if I had something to substitute.

My guy is still refusing to convert…even though cigarettes are going up another $1.00 per pack! I really wish I could get him to use it for a few days just to see that it’s not nearly as bad as he thinks. I can’t say that I’m using mine as a smoking cessation tool, but more like a healthier way to get my nicotine. Hopefully it will help me kick the habit altogether, because there are several strengths of cartridges available. The good thing is that it does still give you the flavor of a real cigarette, but without making your home smell like one!

  5. Jennifer W. says:

I work with a guy who used these. He is doing great, it has been weeks since he has smoked and he was extremely addicted. I also never notice that he was cranky.
