The Best Things Come in Small Packages – Just Check Out This Conscious Box!

As a member of the Pitch List, I was given the opportunity to review the Conscious Box. For those of you that have never heard of Conscious Box, it is a box that you can order every month that contains a wide array of products from several different companies that are “conscious” of our planet. The products are healthier and more eco-friendly than a great deal of what you might find at the store. The fun thing? The items in this box change every single month, so there’s always something new and fun to try!

Just look how nicely packaged everything was! Very impressive.

The first thing I noticed about my Conscious Box?

There are a few different companies that do the monthly goody-box concept. However, this box has to be one of the prettiest I’ve seen thus far. As you can see in the image above, it is simple, but very stylish. I didn’t want to discard it, and it’s good that I didn’t! You see, included in my Conscious Box was a cute little card that included 5 suggestions on how to reuse the box. I thought that was awesome!

Of course, the other thing I noticed was that they packaged everything very carefully. It was all packed in there just perfectly – nice, neat and very classy.

It was obvious that they took great care in packaging the items just right. I feel that it was a very nice extra touch that shows not only how proud they are to present customers these products, but that they actually care about first impressions. They certainly made a good one on me!

I was impressed! I also couldn’t wait to dig into the box and see what goodies were in store for me and my family.

Don’t be fooled! This box contains much more than meets the eye at first glance!

The Conscious Box holds a lot more stuff than what you see here!

I have to admit that when I received this box, I didn’t expect it to have a whole lot of stuff in it. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that my assumption was incorrect.

This box was literally jam-packed full of goodies!

As soon as I folded the tissue paper open, a postcard and several coupons slid right out of the box. As most of you know, I’m a big fan of coupons, so I was totally digging the fact that there were a lot of them included in the Conscious Box. And they were nice ones! Most were $1.00 off of one of the products included; however, there was one that I was particularly fond of after seeing everything that was packed inside this box.

20% off Maple Hill Dryer Balls! I have been wanting some nice wool dryer balls for a long time, so this was a welcome find!

But the coupons weren’t the only goodies included in this awesome little box!

• A packet of Jadience Muscle & Joint Extra Strength Therapeutic Cream
• A bottle of Sweet Orange Essential Oil from Aura Cacia
• A large (family size) bag of Calypso Mango Tea from Mighty Leaf Iced Tea
• One sample each of Organic Agave Nectar and Organic Coconut Sugar from Madhava
• Warrior Blend Raw Protein Vanilla packet from SunWarrior
• Packets of Cherry Marzipan, Cucumber Mint and Honey Yuzu teas from Tea forte
• Lots of coupons ranging from $1.00 off to 20% off

What did we think of the items included in the Conscious Box?

We tried several of the items that we received in the box. The first, of course, was the GoGo squeeZ because my son just couldn’t wait to try it! He thought it was juice at first, but I explained to him that it was a yummy applesauce that was fun to eat. Then he was even more excited! He couldn’t finish the whole thing, so I loved that it came with a lid that I could replace. I just popped it in the fridge and a few hours later, he finished it off. I did get a little taste when I opened it and it was very good.

The peppermints were the next thing we tried because they caught my son’s eye as well. He loved them and so did my stepdaughter. I, personally, am not a big peppermint fan. I tried them anyway and they actually tasted a little bit different than the typical peppermint. I’m not sure what it was because I’m not a peppermint connoisseur, but they tasted better than the peppermints that I usually buy for my family. They kind of reminded me of Altoids simply because they were so very strong. My mouth was definitely fresh for at least an hour afterwards and I was drinking tea.

Speaking of tea…OMG! These teas are fabulous! I started off with the Cherry Marzipan, which is absolutely to die for. Then I made the Calypso Mango iced tea and that was pretty yummy, too – especially since I don’t normally do fruity tea. The Honey Yuza was very relaxing and the Cucumber Mint was refreshingly delicious! I should probably tell you all that I am a tea addict. Seriously. What on earth do you think powers me? It’s the tea! I drink 2-4 Chai Lattes in the morning and then several glasses of iced tea throughout the day. I drink so much tea that I wouldn’t be surprised if I went through withdrawals if I didn’t have it.

The superfruit chews went quick. They were good, but I sure wish that there were more of them! I’ve already started looking online to see where I can find them. The other thing that made my taste buds fall in love? Betty Lou’s Organic Superberry Acai bar! That was one of the most decadent things I have ever tasted. I was in heaven.

The other items I have yet to try, but I’m sure that they will be just as amazing as everything else we’ve tried so far.

Conscious Box is Ready for Back to School! Are You?

If you thought the goodies above sounded good, the Back to School box is supposed to be amazing this month! It will be the August ‘Back to School’ Conscious Box! It’s going to have delicious, nutritious snacks, some  great daily alternatives, and tons of other really fun stuff that everyone will enjoy, making it an AWESOME gift for all students, including K-12 and college.
