Kids Email Review and GiveawayHave you been searching for a safe alternative to regular email for your kids? Kids Email is your solution!

No one wants to have to worry about their children being solicited by spammers, sexual predators or bullies online. Yet each and every day this occurs. You can set parental controls and monitors to increase the level of safety that your children have while surfing the net, but what about their email? Consider how many sexual solicitations you’ve gotten in your spam folder. What if those were to wind up in your child’s email account as well? The good news is that they don’t have to.

With Kids Email, you no longer have to worry about these safety threats that lurk in the typical email account. Keep reading to learn more about this dynamic new email program and how you can take advantage of it today.

The Many Fabulous Features of Kids Email

Kids Email is an amazing email program developed especially for children. Parents can monitor their child’s account with ease. And let me tell you, you are going to appreciate these features!

With your Kids Email account you will be able to:

  • Allow your child to only send and receive emails from people already approved and in their contact list
  • Receive copies of emails – both incoming and outgoing
  • Remove any images present within emails
  • Remove any links present within emails
  • Allow only specific types of attachments, such as: images, pictures, video, mp3s, zip, pdf, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • Approve or deny any emails sent to your children via the mail queue
  • Filter out any offensive words found in your child’s incoming emails
  • Filter spam
  • Allow your kids to modify the look and feel of their email account by selecting one of several fun templates
  • Allow younger children to use the simple mode and older kids can use the advanced mode

What are my favorite features?

I think it’s really neat that parents can easily monitor any messages that your child sends or receives. I love that this feature can be enabled or disabled as you feel appropriate. You can also place time restrictions, allowing your child to only log into their email account at certain times of the day. The times can be customized for each day of the week.

Now that last feature I talked about has one totally awesome feature that you absolutely have to try out. It allows you to place a custom message that will show up when they attempt to log into the account if they are grounded. Personally, I thought that was a pretty cool feature! Yes, there is some gratification when you know that your kid is going to try to do something you told them they could not and they try to do it anyway, and then – BAM! – a message pops up saying, “Grounded means grounded – from EVERYTHING! Get off the computer NOW or I’ll lock that down, too!!!” Just knowing that you got one over on your kid is like instant gratification. Meanwhile, they are wondering when you developed the super-human power to invade the internet and hack their email account.

Did I mention that Kids Email also logs each time that your child logs into their account? Yep, you can monitor when your child is using his or her email – it even logs instances when your child attempts to login to their email during a restricted hour, so you can use those super-human powers I mentioned above. Go grab a cape – you’re now Super-Parent, the super-human parent that knows all things and can thwart email access with the click of a mouse!

I also really like the Mail Queue. This feature lets you basically intercept any emails that fail the safety requirements that you put in place. Maybe it’s a stranger trying to email your child or maybe it’s someone that sent an email full of curse words. Whatever occurs, you get the email first and you can read and either approve or deny it. If you choose to deny it, you might also want to block the sender. Yep, you can do that, too! In fact, even if you allow your child to receive all email, you have the power to block certain senders by placing them on the blacklist.

What’s the cost?

Kids Email costs roughly $2.99 a month for 13 months. You get the first month completely free as a trial, but they are currently running a special price that will give you 6 email accounts for 13 months at this price. That’s amazing considering all of the great features that you and your children can take advantage of! You can check out the special offer right here.

My overall opinion of Kids Email

I personally love Kids Email and have set it up for my teenage stepdaughter. Surprisingly, she has a free email account on Yahoo and she absolutely loves her new email account because she doesn’t log in to find a ton of spam sitting in her inbox! I thought about setting it up for myself for that exact reason! Yes folks, this email program is so cool that even you parents will want to use it yourselves!

Reduce your spam, know what your kids are up to in their email account and keep them safe from bullies, predators, spammers and more.
