Quick and Easy Chili

One of my stepdaughter’s favorite dinners is chili, so I make it fairly regularly. In fact, I think I could probably make it blind folded if I had to. This Quick and Easy Chili recipe is so simple to make that you won’t have to rush around to get dinner on the table after a long day at work. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family and I do!

Quick and Easy Chili Recipe

There’s nothing like a good bowl of chili on a cool day. This Quick and Easy Chili recipe is one I’ve used for years and I imagine I’ll be using it for years to come. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

2 cans chili beans (24 – 25 oz. each)

1 can diced tomatoes with onions and garlic

1 can diced tomatoes with green chilis

1/2 an onion, finely chopped

1 teaspoon horseradish

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

2 tablespoons chili powder

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 dash cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon sugar

1 and 1/2 cups water

Preparation:

Turn burner to medium-high heat.

In large pot, add ground beef, minced garlic and onion. Cook until ground beef is browned. Drain any excess grease.

Turn burner to medium heat. Add horseradish and stir in.

Add both cans of tomatoes (just empty all of the contents of the can into the pot) and both cans of beans. Stir well.

Slowly stir in all remaining ingredients. Cover and allow to simmer for 10 – 15 minutes.

Top with shredded cheese and serve with your choice of crackers.

Makes 8-10 servings.
