Poise Thin-Shape Pads

Summer is here! For me, that means a whole lot of fun outdoors. We’re a pretty active family during the nice months here in the Midwest. We love float trips, camping, hiking, fishing and more. Of course, that hot weather means that I’m not always going to be comfy in jeans, so this is the time I break out the skirts, dresses, swimsuits, and shorts!

For many, this time of year is the time that they start feeling a little uncomfortable. Sure, lots of ladies get the summer stress of getting swimsuit ready, but I’m talking about the ladies that are uncomfortable due to light bladder leakage. It’s hard to feel confident in your cute new skirt when you’re worried about that bulky pad staying in place. The good news is that there are so many more options for LBL now than ever before! For instance, Poise Thin-Shape pads are a great choice for managing your LBL during the hot summer months. They’re thin, but super-absorbent, so you can show off your summer style with complete confidence!

Millions of women deal with LBL (light bladder leakage), and there’s absolutely no shame in that. I personally started experiencing it after my son was born. At first it was a little leaking here and there when I sneezed or coughed really hard, but I soon noticed that laughing too hard would also cause an issue. It could be really embarrassing, especially when I was out and about with friends. Until I worked with Poise, I had never tried their products. Like many women, I always just resorted to the trusty period pad. That all changed as soon as I tried Poise. Give Poise Thin-Shape pads a try today with this free sample!

WHAT CAUSES LBL?

Just as no two women are alike, there’s no single reason that LBL happens. Some of the most common things that lead to uninvited leaks include:
• Physical changes from childbirth, pregnancy, hysterectomy or menopause
• Being overweight
• Complications from surgery, stroke, or chronic diseases like diabetes, multiple sclerosis (MS) or Parkinson’s disease
• Bladder or urinary tract infections
• Bladder irritants (certain foods and beverages)

Celebrate Your Independence from LBL!

Since you’re going to be feeling so much more confident with Poise Thin-Shape pads, why not do something fun with all of those big, bulky period pads that you won’t be using for LBL anymore?

Check out the mouse ears I made for my little Min-Pin! I’m pretty sure he hates them with a passion, but they look soooo cute on him! 😀

RecycleYourPeriodPad Mouse Ears Craft

Mouse Ear Doggie Hat Pad Craft

1 pad

1 black marker

1 pink marker

Glue gun with 1 glue stick

A large hair scrunchy

Instructions:

First, color the pad. I chose to color the outside area black and the inside area pink. Next, place two fingers in the center of the pad to pinch it together. Put some glue in the fold of the area that you’re pinching together so that it will stay shut or pinched. Use your thumb to bring up each side of the pad to make ears. Add a drop of hot glue to the edge of one ear and bring the edge of the other over to gently press over the top of it. This will help the ears keep their shape.

Finally, take the scrunchy in your hand and flatten out the area that you want to attach the pad to. You will be attaching the bottom portion of the “pinched” part of the pad, so be sure that you use enough glue on the scrunchy for appropriate coverage. Press the pad down onto the glue on the scrunchy and hold it in place for one minute.

Voila! You now have a set of mouse ears or short bunny ears for your small dog! I hope your doggie likes them more than mine did!
